A claim is what you think. A reason is why. The word because connects them.
Definition
For Super Thinkers, an argument is a claim plus a reason joined by because. Without the reason, you only have a wish.
This is the golden rule of the grades 3–5 book. Practice turning everyday wants into arguments other people can evaluate fairly.
